More than $1 million awarded to Blessing nursing students
Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences, in cooperation with The Blessing Foundation, has awarded $1,078,290 in scholarships and grants to Blessing-Rieman students for the 2017-2018 academic year. A total of 48 students received money from 41 endowed scholarships.

Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences, in cooperation with The Blessing Foundation, has awarded $1,079,745 in scholarships and grants to Blessing-Rieman students for the 2016-2017 academic year. Sixty-one students received money from 36 endowed scholarships and one general financial aid fund.
Nurse educator receives state recognition
Brandi Venvertloh, MSN, RN, CPN, Assistant Professor, Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences, has been recognized as one of the “40 Under 40 Emerging Nurse Leaders in Illinois” for 2016 by the Illinois Nurses Foundation.
Blessing-Rieman nursing students inducted into international honor society
Quincy, IL – More than 20 nursing students and a community leader were recently inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) as members of the Pi Pi chapter at Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences in Quincy, Illinois. The new members joined 128 other students and nurse leaders in the chapter.

New cancer-fighting technology in use at the Blessing Cancer Center’s nationally-accredited Radiation Therapy Department delivers treatment with greater precision and speed. The TrueBeam STx treats tumors anywhere in the body, including the brain and spine.

Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing changes name, begins anniversary celebration
Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing became Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences on January 1, 2016. The name change reflects the addition of the College’s Associate of Science in Respiratory Care degree program and anticipated expansion into other health sciences programs.
