The December 2023 nursing graduates of Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences posted a 100 percent passage rate on the National Council of Licensure Examination (NCLEX). All 12 graduates passed the examination on their first attempt. The 2023 pass rate for all first-time, U.S. educated students taking the NCLEX-RN exam is 87.62%.
The exam is a 150-question, five-hour examination. Passage of the exam is required to become a licensed, registered nurse.
“The graduates from Blessing-Rieman are among the best in the nation as evidenced by their performance on their national licensure examination,” said Brenda Beshears, PhD, RN, president, chief executive officer, and professor. “In addition, they have qualities that are not measured by a test such as compassion, critical thinking, and resilience. We also recognize our quality faculty and staff who play an important role in the overall success of each student and graduate.”
Blessing-Rieman has provided excellence in professional nursing and healthcare career education since 1891. The College offers joint Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing, Radiologic Science, and Respiratory Care, all in partnership with Culver-Stockton College, Canton, Missouri, and Quincy University, Quincy, Illinois. Blessing-Rieman also offers a Direct Transfer option for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Radiologic Technology, and Respiratory Care, an Associate of Science in Medical Laboratory, an online RN to BSN, an RRT-BSRT, and an online Master of Science in Nursing.
